In 2018, we left city life behind in search of a simpler life, and we ended up finding our very own pleasant place in the Willamette Valley. The rich soil, the lush trees, something new blooming every month…we felt instantly at peace.
As we were cleaning up after a big winter storm one year, we discovered an abundance of fallen cottonwood branches along the creek on our property. After researching the medicinal power of the buds, we spent days harvesting as many as we could, then began handcrafting our own salve. This experience really opened our minds to what else Mother Earth could provide for us, right here in our little pleasant place.
In the spirit of doing what we can with what we have, our family has set out to work together, creating small-batch products that encourage daily self-care rituals. By keeping every aspect of the process in our hands, you’ll know that each product was grown, harvested, manufactured, bottled, labeled and delivered to you with a great deal of love and care.
Because it is our mission to provide high-quality products at affordable prices, we manage our resources carefully. This means foregoing expensive marketing campaigns – the people that are meant to find our products will. This also means that we follow organic practices in everything we do, even if we are not certified as such. Following our hearts is what started this journey, but we’ve rooted our products in science, with a certificate of analysis from accredited labs available upon request.
